New MPG standards vs. PurigeN98 tire inflation

The new auto mileage legislation announced by President Obama today can and will have a tremendous positive impact on our company and PurigeN98.
First it further confirms the emphasis by the administration to make vehicles more efficient, but there are also some other interesting facts that put the benefits of our technology in a new light.

Fuel savings:
• The new rules are expected to save about 1.8 billion barrels of oil through 2016. This is a total of 63 billion gallons over 7 years or 9 billion gallons per year at an estimated cost of $1,300 per vehicle.
• Using Nitrogen tire inflation will save approximately 3.6 billion gallons per year roughly 40% of the administration new goals for about $40 per vehicle. In addition it can be implemented today.

MPG effect of using our technology
• The higher the mpg, the greater the impact our technology will present on a per mileage basis. Let me explain.
o A vehicle with 15 mpg and under inflated tires will save at a conservative basis 3.3% with PuirgeN98 so this affect fuel economy 0.495 mpg
o If the future vehicles now gets 45 mpg and under inflated tires will save at a rate of 3.3% with PuirgeN98 so this affect fuel economy 1.485 mpg

Cost effectiveness:
• Even if all tires are converted at the current retail price of $10 per tire we are looking at a total cost of $10 billion initially and 2.5 billion annually thereafter. This does not include the effects on tire wear, safety, etc.
• The new MPG standards are expected an initial cost estimate of $47 billion. And this has no effect on tire wear and safety whatsoever.
• N2R can place equipment that will quickly convert all 1 billion tires on the road by installing our equipment for a total cost of $4billion.

Other benefits
• In order to make vehicles more fuel efficient they will likely be much lighter and will be higher precision, finer balanced machines that need to be finely tuned in order to operate at the higher efficiency levels.
• This further strengthens the case for our technology, because it makes vehicles safer and performance is maximized.

Final Thought
• It is great that we are moving towards a more efficient society, but in order to reach the goals, it is important that we take care of the basics first. Nitrogen tire inflation can have an immediate impact, can lead to substantial savings, is ready to go today, and has many other positive benefits. In addition, its benefits will only grow larger over time.

PurigeN98 dealer went out of business – who is going to top off my tires?

I received the email below, and thought that this may be of interest to our customers as the current economy is unfortunately forcing many car dealers to close. We will do whatever we can to help find a new dealer in your local are to provide the top off service required to maintain your PurigeN98 inflated tires in top shape. On a positive note, we are shipping lots of new systems and adding many new locations daily, so that it will become easier to find another provider if your original can no longer offer the service.

serviced without any charge ?

As the manufacturer we do not make any specific offers to the end consumers, that is done by our dealers directly. I believe that that Mazda store in question was operated by the Potamkin group and they have many other stores in the South Florida area who offer PuirgeN98 and I am sure will be happy to take care of your periodic top off needs.

As far as Houston, we encourage our dealers to provide free top offs to out of state PurigeN98 customers, and most do. I suggest that you locate the nearest dealer on our website www.puirgen98.com and call them to see if they will top of your tires for no charge.

As always, it is important to have your pressure checked, and even if no Purigen98 is available, it is better to use regular air, than drive on under inflated tires. Once you return to the South Florida area, you can go to your nearest Potamkin dealer to get your tires topped off with PurigeN98.

Borrowed Blue Caps?

Not a day goes by that we do not receive a call from one of our PurigeN98 users asking for replacement blue caps. It turns out that people like the blue caps so much that they just “borrow” them from parked vehicles. We used to hear it every once in a while, but this phenomena is growing rapidly. If you are a PurigeN98 user and find yourself “capless”, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service department for free replacements.

As always, the caps are meant to show that you have PurigeN98 in the tires. Simply putting the caps on your car without getting the actual PurigeN98 inside your tires will make you look good, but will not give you any of the great benefits that our pure nitrogen offers.

What’s with the Blue Caps?

When we launched PurigeN98 we tried to find a way to separate ourselves from other nitrogen products. Everybody was using green caps so we chose PurigeN98 blue. But it is more than just a nice looking cap. PurigeN98 at a minimum guaranteed purity level of 98% is about 2.5 times purer than competing (green and generic) nitrogen inflation products. Since all competitors generally use green caps to denote that a tire has nitrogen in it, we wanted to make sure that consumers could visually see the difference. Only PurigeN98 blue caps may be sold by PurigeN98 dealers.

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Robin Pearl, and I am the President and Founder of PurigeN98.
